RELINE recognized as a “Hidden Champion”

The TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe has honored RELINE as a leading specialist in its technological niche.

The official presentation of the certificate, followed by a business lunch, took place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in the cultural hall of the City Hall Kandel. Representing the entire workforce, CEO Marc Stiebing accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The recognition is based on a comprehensive scientific study conducted by SME researcher Prof. Dr. Jan‑Philipp Büchler of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences on behalf of the cross‑state and cross‑border TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe GmbH.

Hidden Champions are defined as medium‑sized companies that rank among the top three worldwide in their niche or are number one on their home continent, generate annual revenues between €5 million and €5 billion, and maintain a comparatively low public profile outside specialist circles. As a global leading provider of trenchless pipeline rehabilitation solutions and UV technologies, RELINE is described by representatives of the TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe as “an outstanding example of entrepreneurial excellence.”
