After four intensive days of the trade fair in Kassel, RELINE is looking back on RO-KA-TECH 2025 with a positive outlook. The message is clear: In times when the protection of water resources and sustainability are increasingly becoming the focus, trenchless sewer rehabilitation is growing dynamically and gaining global relevance. This is also demonstrated by the strong interest in the latest product innovations from the Rohrbach-based company, which is committed to increasing the visibility of the industry.

"RO-KA-TECH has now clearly established itself as the leading global trade fair," concludes Philipp Bergmann, Head of Sales Europe at RELINE. "German and European standards form the reference for global standards, which underscores the importance of Europe as a driving force for development in our industry."
Growing Industry Importance
A key theme at the trade fair was the growing awareness of the central social importance of the wastewater and sewer rehabilitation industry, as RELINE CEO Marc Stiebing observed: "For a long time, our industry was unaware of the enormous contribution it makes. Everyone uses water every day without thinking about what happens to it afterward. Our work to secure infrastructure protects resources and the environment." Most recently, the company demonstrated what is technically possible with several successfully installed Alphaliner 1800H pipes in the XXL diameter DN 2000.
RELINE is now committed to increasing the visibility and recognition of the industry – for example, by creating a comprehensive life cycle assessment (LCA), which is currently being certified for an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). "Such certified environmental assessments are becoming increasingly important internationally and are already actively required in tenders in markets such as Scandinavia and the Netherlands," explains Philipp Martin, Director of Sales and Marketing at RELINE. “They are crucial to highlighting the environmental friendliness and sustainability of trenchless sewer rehabilitation and thereby strengthening competitiveness.”
Great Interest in New Products
Among RELINE's trade fair highlights, in addition to the RE4000 UV system, the Alphaliner PN, which was specially developed for pressure pipes, attracted considerable interest. "The response was remarkable," reports Philipp Bergmann. "We received numerous inquiries from regions we hadn't yet considered. It confirmed that the global market is open to innovative solutions for the rehabilitation of pressure pipes."
The live presentation of the first German reference project on the island of Juist, including a question and answer session, was particularly well received. It shed light on the rehabilitation measures in a sensitive national park environment from a multifaceted perspective. At this point, a big thank you again to Dimitri Bezmenov from Swietelsky Faber, who, along with Marc Stiebing and Philipp Bergmann, made the live presentation possible.
A strong trade fair presence, a strong future
For RELINE, RO-KA-TECH 2025 was not just a platform to present new products. It also offered an opportunity to engage intensively with the international trade audience, gain new perspectives, and further strengthen the importance of trenchless sewer rehabilitation. "The trade fair demonstrated that our industry is not only stable, but is even gaining in importance in the face of major changes – for example, compared to the automotive industry," Philipp Bergmann summarizes with satisfaction. "We look forward to carrying this positive momentum into future projects."
